Your Athlete Needs You Steady.

But Who's Steadying You?

You show up for every practice, every meet, every hard moment. You hold the emotions, the logistics, the pressure — all of it. But your own nervous system is running on empty. That's not sustainable. And it's not who you were made to be.

You've tried to push through. To pray more. To manage the schedule better. And you still end up snapping at your kid on the way home from a meet you both worked so hard for.

It's not a parenting problem. It's not a faith problem.

Your brain learned to stay on high alert to keep up with everything this life demands. It just never learned how to stand down.

When you learn to calm your brain and regulate your nervous system — you stop reacting and start anchoring. Your athlete feels the difference. Your family feels the difference. You feel the difference.

Not sure where to start? Understanding how you naturally show up for your athlete — and what it costs you — is the first step. The quiz takes two minutes.

For Athletes

Learn how to reset after mistakes, stay focused under pressure, and stop carrying every game, practice, or performance home with you. Build mental skills that actually help when things get hard.

For Parents

Learn how to support your teen’s mental game without constant power struggles, emotional blowups, or feeling like every conversation turns into a fight. Get clear on when to step in and when to step back.

The Outcome

Fewer arguments.

Clearer communication.

More enjoyment of the sport again.

An athlete who handles pressure better.
A parent who supports without overcorrecting.

Mental strength in action.

Mental skills matter just as much as physical training.

When athletes learn how to manage pressure and

parents understand how to respond, performance

improves and family stress decreases.

Not sure if this is the right fit? We can talk through what your athlete is dealing with and whether this kind of support makes sense for your family.

Why I Do What I Do

I’m Dr. Yelena Gidenko, a brain health coach, PhD in psychology, and a mom to a competitive athlete.

For over 20 years, I’ve helped people understand how pressure affects the brain and how to respond in ways that actually help. This work became personal when I saw how competitive sports pressure was affecting families like mine.

Athletes were burning out. Parents felt stuck. Home life was stretched thin.

I do this because I’ve seen what happens when pressure goes unaddressed and what’s possible when families get the right tools. Everything I teach is grounded in how the brain actually works so athletes and parents can grow stronger together.

What Families Are Saying

Helping athletes thrive without burning out and giving parents tools to support them isn’t just something I teach. It’s something I live. These are a few of the reflections families have shared:

“My daughter’s confidence is finally showing up on the field. But what surprised me most is how much calmer she is at home.”
— Mom of a 14-year-old soccer player

“This was the first time anyone explained what my son was going through in a way that actually made sense. And we got tools that helped.”
— Dad of teen swimmer

“He’s grown tremendously, not just in basketball but in focus and confidence too. He still brings up what he learned working with you and how much it helped.”
— Mom of a teen basketball player
